1. What would you call the Turning point in your life (How did the idea of getting into this field come about? What made you choose this? And what would you say sets you apart?
Initially I was never so health conscious, but since the time I stepped in the field of Food Nutrition and Dietetics, I have become more aware about Nutrition and Diet. So I was more keen on getting deep into this field and help people around me lead a better and disease free life by guiding them naturally through Nutrition and Diet. I did my Bachelor's in Food Nutrition & Dietetics. Moved a step towards Masters in the field of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Then finally became a Registered Dietitian (RD). I feel this is my responsibility to create awareness among people related to health, Medical Conditions, Balanced Diet, Avoiding Fad Diets, Change in Lifestyle and accordingly guiding them as a coach. I believe in: " CHANGE YOUR LIFE * START TODAY."
2. In layman’s terms could you please tell me what is it that you do as a nutritionist ?
As a Nutrionist, Initially take the Anthropometric Measurements i. e. Height, Weight, Body Fat Analysis, Waist Measurements. Medical History Food Recall Physical Activity Duration Accordingly help them with a Well Balanced Diet, with a number of Food Options, Recipes as and when required, some work-out videos for their guidance. Guiding towards water intake, sleeping patterns, stress levels. How to manage outside eating habits. Overall guiding them and coaching them as their Nutrition Partners. Available at their time. What I personally think people should lose a healthy weight. Always target approx 2-2.5 kg weight loss every-month. Go slow because that will help you maintain the lost weight. If gaining weight takes time, then losing weight will also take time. Right.
3. What do you like most about what you are doing?
The most I like about what I am doing is that I am able to create awareness among people about Healthy Food. I can help people by guiding them naturally in terms of Healthy food. Help people get medically better by guiding them about different conditions and what to include and avoid in foods during that particular condition. Also, by food naturally, they get off medicine. Which is the best and natural thing.
4. What is your definition of Success?
Definition of success for me is when Patients or Clients who get better and see results on our guidance of Food, Nutrition and Diet. We can bring about a change in their life and also life-style. They benefit from our guidance and also spread the awareness.
5. If you had to give a advice to your younger self when you were starting out, what would it be or If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
I would make the aspect more practical than too much theoretical. This would be one change I would want to get it over a period of time. We also learn from our experiences and by sharing each other experiences.
6. Any regrets as of now? And if yes would you like to share
No regrets till now. And I do not think we need to regret for any decision we make. Always be Positive and Create Positivity and Happiness around you.
7. Top 2 regular practices that have helped you
Practices that have helped me are: 1. Not being too stringent or strict and creating some allowance for the Clients or Patients. 2. Be more interactive, gather as much knowledge from the client or patients, understand their situation, show empathy, guide them with a number of options, do not restrict to very few things, keep on trying new-new things in your practice.
8. Motivational factor (What keeps you motivated)
My-self, My patients and clients, their even My Partner and my both families and Friends are very supportive and encouraging.
9. One relationship that helped (Who has been your biggest support in this journey ?)
The Biggest support in this entire Journey as previously said my Partner, both families and my friends.
10. What is the biggest misconception you think people have about you?
Misconception I have never come across till date.
11. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
1. Be Confident. 2. Be Aware 3. Be loyal and Understanding 4. Be Trustworthy 5. Be Patient and Positive
12. What would you have been if not what you are doing currently?
Never thought of. But I guess I would be a Bharat Natyam Dancer. I love it.

Bachelor's, Master's, Registered Dietitian (RD), PhD.

Talent, Interest, Dedication and Love for this Field, Wanting to learn everytime something new and Understanding things properly.

16. Any advice to parents whose kids may want to pursue this course?
Let your child do what-ever they want. Keep them motivating, encouraging and be a part of their journey. Encourage them to read more. Let them achieve their success and reach the top in this field.
