Weddings are once in a life time affair and looking good for the big day should be an important part for both the bride and groom. Gone are the days when only brides were the cynosure of everyone’s eyes.  The grooms need to match up to their would- be better halves in looking dapper for every photo shoot. In the lines of the famous French designer Christian Dior “Grooming is the secret of real elegance. The best clothes, the most wonderful jewels, the most glamorous beauty don’t count without good grooming.’’

Grooms need to follow a regular beauty regime   and make a few lifestyle changes to look suave on the D-day. Let’s see what beauty and lifestyle tips of would be grooms can give their brides a run for their money-

Skin care routine:

  • Identify the skin type
  • See if your skin is oily, dry, combination or acne-prone
  • According to that the beauty regimen can be planned.
  • Clean your face daily not with ordinary soap but with face wash
  • Use face wash according to your skin type
  • Daily go in for CTM or Cleaning, Toning & Moisturizing

  • For dark circles under the eyes use potato, tea bags or cucumbers and a good under eye cream before going to bed daily

  • Both bride &groom are a team and each must make an  effort to look good for each other
  • So even the  groommust go to the salon and pamper himself with a facial, manicure, pedicure and a body massage
  • A body spa will help in rejuvenation of the body

Right Diet

  • Eating the right kind of food will help in keeping the skin clear & glowing
  • Say bye to oily and fried food which can clog the system and lessen the metabolism of the body
  • Oily, fried and junk food may lead to breakouts
  • So refrain from eating such food and cut down on your sugar intake
  • Avoid alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes which can play spoilsport on your health
  • Increase your veggie and fruit intake to maintain a radiant glow
  • Remain hydrated by drinking lots of fluids on a regular basis
  • Eating food in olive oil, eating fish like salmon, carrots and green tea can help in keeping the skin radiant and healthy

  • You can use a chickpea & turmeric paste to clean the body
  • You should smell good as a good scent is a signature of a man. Keep to a subtle and lingering cologne as it shouldn’t overpower

Exercise

  • Do regular workouts to get rid of excess belly fat
  • Join a gym or do other exercises in the house
  • Make jogging & walking a regular part of your routine

Sleep

  • Take your proper 8 hours sleep
  • Proper sleep relaxes the body and prevents bags and dark circles under the eyes
  • Try having power naps in the day
  • Avoid late nights
