A delectable white tea from Barnesberg Tea Estate, Darjeeling, left us spell bound. The tea has a fruity aroma and long lasting taste of orange blossom. This gets stronger by the sip and lingers through the finish.
Dry Leaf: Whole leaf, lightly rolled leaves with plenty of ivory tips
Aroma: Sweetness of ripe tropical fruits, a touch of green, and hints of citrus blossom
Colour of Liquor: Light Gold
Flavour of the Tea: Smooth fruity sweetness, flavours the tea. There is an intoxicating note of orange blossom and lily which will take over the senses towards the end, this gets stronger by the sip and lingers through the finish.
Compliments: Because of the extremely subtle flavour of white teas, we recommend pairing them with only the mildest of flavours.
Brewing instructions: Always use fresh water. Bring water to near boiling point. Take one teaspoon of tea leaves in a cup. Pour the heated water and steep the tea for 5 mins. Adjust the time of brewing as per desired strength. Leaves can be steeped multiple times till it gives flavour.
Tea Master Recommendation: Not to be had with milk. Always use fresh water. Do not use re-boiled water. The brewed leaves can be steeped multiple times with an increase in steeping time. Sip it when it cools down a little instead of boiling hot for enhanced flavour.
